The word “Raeda” is Latin for “coach”. And coaches are people who help facilitate change, ask questions, and, along with your resources, help you move in the right direction. Coaches help identify talent and resources to enable the coachee to use them to the best of their ability.
Kathryn Schwab – Principal
Specialties : Marketing Communications, Social Media Strategy and Policy Development, Training and Facilitation
Kathryn Schwab is a marketing and communications professional with more than 20 years experience spanning Media (Film, Television and Radio), Marketing Communications Management, and Media Relations and Social Media consulting. Kathryn has created and implemented fresh approaches that help businesses strengthen relationships with key audiences. She has worked with businesses and organizations in the Not-For-Profit and NGO sector, retail, venture capital, medical and health, and high tech. From 2003 to 2011, she owned and operated PRceptive Communications Inc., a communications and social media consulting firm. Prior to that, Kathryn worked in Public Relations and Marketing Communications roles in various tech companies around the National Capital Area.
Kathryn holds a B.A. Honours, Psychology, from Carleton University, and a diploma in Film and Broadcasting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Kathryn is also a former member of the Board of Directors for Shad Valley International and Crime Stoppers, National Capital Area.
Bonnie DuPont – Associate
Specialties : Executive and Management Coaching, Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Resources, Strategy Succession Planning.
Bonnie brings more than 25 years experience as an executive in the energy and grain industries, where she was responsible for human resources, labour relations, information technology, public affairs and governance functions. Since retiring from her position after 12 years as Group Vice President, Corporate Resource at Enbridge Inc. in March 2010, Bonnie has been actively consulting and providing coaching services to a number of organizations and individuals across Canada. She also currently serves on a number of corporate boards including the Bank of Canada, Viterra, SilverBirch Energy, and Bird Construction. With each of these boards, Bonnie chairs a Board Committee, specializing in Human Resources, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility, or Governance. In these roles, she has kept herself current with best practices and current thinking in the areas. She also serves on the board of a not for profit organization, the University of Calgary, where she chairs the Human Resources and Governance Committee as well as serving as Vice Chair of that Board. In addition Bonnie serves on the Calgary Stampede Compensation and Pension Committee. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a 2006 graduate of its Directors Education Program. Bonnie is past president of the Calgary Petroleum Club, and was the first woman ever appointed to that role.
Bonnie holds a BSW from the University of Regina and a M.Ed. from the University of Calgary. In June 2008 she received an Honourary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Regina, and in 2011 she received an Honourary Degree in Science from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
She has been the recipient of many awards throughout her career. Bonnie is a five-time recipient of “Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women”, the University of Calgary’s Top 40 Graduates (2006) one of Alberta’s 50 Most Influential Individuals (2008), and numerous other awards.
